Attire

Just a quick word about what to wear. Basically, we want you to look/feel your best but be comfortable as well-- whatever that means to you. The venue is semi-formal, but if it works for you, we're sure it'll work for us.

Note: Anthony will be wearing a suit and tie, and Allison will be wearing a wedding dress.

Invitations

We've heard that some of you received invitations and RSVP envelopes that were a little faded. It sounds like some ink rubbed off in the mailing process due to the way the bundles were prepped. Just wanted to say that it was our hope that everyone would receive a pristine, adorable invitation and we're sorry that wasn't the case!

RSVPs

Our RSVP cards ask you to please respond by September 15th. If you won't know whether you can attend by then, it's no problem - just give us a heads up.

If you're too excited to wait for snail mail to communicate your RSVP (or if you don't feel like dropping the response card in the mail, etc.), you can always email, text or call us instead.

Gifts

We are very fortunate in life and love. Your presence at our wedding is present enough. In other words, no gifts are expected. We mean it.

If we are honored with a gift from you, a monetary gift to start our married life will be very much appreciated. If you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us in your own way.

Note: If you do feel compelled to go the monetary gift route and to do so via check, please make the checks out to either Allison Keeler or Anthony Thompson, so our banks will let us deposit them.

Marvimon (1411 N. Broadway LA 90012) is near Chinatown in Downtown Los Angeles. We asked the venue for hotel referrals and they gave us these:

Unfortunately, we don't have a group rate anywhere. These 4 hotels are pricey, so you can of course always do your own search for motels/hotels/airbnb rentals nearby.
